About Me

Hello, Friend!

A little about me…

My name is Cheree, I’m 19, I enjoy baking, jogging, reading, and laughing..always!

I went on World Race Gap Year in September of 2017 and got home in June 2018. The race was such a wonderful season. The Lord taught me so much through my experiences during that 9 months. I really fell in love with the Adventures in Missions community and learned what it looks like to intentionally love the people around me and how to love those people well.

I was home for about two months after my race when I felt the call back to missions and especially back to the community here at Adventures. Mainly, I felt a call to learn. In this season at Center For Global Action, I want to learn how to be effective in mission work, but more than that, I want to grow as a person and learn how to spread the gospel more effectively by the way I live my life. And, there is no better way to learn than from people who walk and talk the way you want to walk and talk. So, I’m entering into a season of learning and growing alongside the community that impacted me so heavily on my race. For the next 5 months, I’ll be living in Gainesville, GA near the Adventures in Missions Base, and attending discipleship classes alongside other Gap Year Alumni. I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for this next season.

I’m so thankful for this opportunity and all of my supporters who make it possible!

Much love,

-Cheree
